Description
FSN is seeking experienced and highly motivated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our specialized care teams across multiple high-acuity departments, including Critical Care (Adult and Pediatric), Stepdown, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Heart & Vascular services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide direct nursing care for critically ill or post-procedural patients.
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamic data.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and specialized treatments.
- Operate advanced medical equipment (ventilators, telemetry monitors, infusion pumps).
- Assist with procedures and interventions specific to assigned specialty (e.g., cardiac procedures, post-op recovery).
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding conditions, procedures, and recovery plans.
- Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition, including emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program
- BLS certification
- 2+ years of acute care nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Strong clinical, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
