Respiratory Therapist - NICU/PEDS | Travel | Estimated Gross Weekly Pay Package: $2430 (negotiable)
Assignment Overview
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist specializing in NICU/Pediatric care. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing comprehensive respiratory care for pediatric patients across various units. This role involves working in a highly specialized children's hospital setting with responsibility for advanced respiratory support.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Children's Hospital
- Location: Not provided
- Shift Details: 0645-1915/1845-0715, 3x12 Nights
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
- No Call
- Estimated Gross Weekly Pay Package: $2430 (negotiable)
- Local Candidate Policy: Travelers must live 50 miles outside of the home unit
- Charting System: EPIC
- Orientation: 3 days total; possible additional day for each intensive care unit
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care for pediatric patients across various units
- Utilize IPPV/NIPPV ventilators
- Collaborate with respiratory leadership and multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications
Required:
- BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP certifications
- RRT or CRT certification
- NC Licensure
- 2 years of recent pediatric respiratory therapy experience
- IPPV/NIPPV ventilator experience
