RN (Registered Nurse), RN-Medsu | Travel | Neuro MedSurg Acute | Location Not Provided

Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced RN to join our Neuro MedSurg Acute unit. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working on a dedicated neuro unit and must be comfortable in a fast-paced acute care setting. The role involves delivering top-quality care for patients with stroke, spine surgery, and other neurological conditions.

Assignment Details

Facility Type: Acute
Start Date: 8/4/2025
Shift Details: 12hr Nights with every other weekend requirement
Assignment Length: Not provided
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2907 (negotiable)
Charting System: EPIC
Local Candidate Policy: Deductive rate for those within 50 miles
Scrub Color/Dress Code: No specific color required, tattoos covered
Floating: Occurs in rotation with general unit staff

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological conditions
Titrate heparin drips based on PTT levels
Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to maintain patient care quality
Participate in unit-specific orientation with educator and preceptor

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL license or application in progress
BLS, NIHSS certifications
Must have Level 1 trauma experience
Previous travel experience
Prior experience in a dedicated neuro unit
Experience with high flow RT equipment for stable COVID patients
