RN (Registered Nurse) | Travel | MedSurg Acute Care | RN-Medsu

Assignment Overview

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a Travel assignment in a MedSurg Acute Care unit. Ideal candidates will have experience with general medical patients and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The unit features both private and semi-private rooms and requires proficiency in managing up to 6L NC, BiPAP, and CPAP oxygen modalities.

Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2907 (negotiable)
Charting System: EPIC

Responsibilities

Care for patients with general medical diagnoses
Administer and titrate Heparin drips
Provide 24-hour charge RN coverage
Monitor patients with remote telemetry systems
Collaborate with unit leadership for scheduling
Float to other units as needed
Attempt IV starts and liaise with the phlebotomy team

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL RN license or confirmation of application initiation
BLS certification
Ability to produce a negative drug screen
Experience with Heparin drips

Preferred:

1+ year of hospital experience
ACLS certification for Charge RN position

PEL/VIP Job ID #65665902. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
