RN (Registered Nurse) | Travel | IL
Assignment Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in an Acute Care setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in Med-Surg, with the ability to handle a range of medical diagnoses such as GI bleeds, sepsis, and COVID-19. The RN will be responsible for patient care in a 29-bed unit with varying patient ratios, including duties such as titrating heparin drips and utilizing remote telemetry monitoring.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Acute Care
- Charting System: EPIC
- Shift Details: 12hr nights (3x12 shifts per week), with shift reports at 7a and 7p
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Fri/Sat for nights)
- Holiday Requirement: Rotated holidays
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2907 (negotiable)

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to a wide range of patients
- Titrate heparin drips as needed
- Collaborate with the medical team and utilize available resources
- Perform IV starts and blood draws when necessary
- Maintain clear communication during shift reports
Qualifications
Required:
- Active IL RN license or application in process
- BLS Certification
- Experience in Med-Surg or similar acute care setting
- Ability to work nights and weekends as required
