Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Room. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical care skills and be comfortable working in a high-acuity environment. This role involves treating a wide range of patients, from newborns to the elderly, with varying degrees of urgency.

Responsibilities

Provide care for critically ill patients, including those in cardiac arrest and trauma.
Administer and titrate a range of drips including vasopressors and cardiac drips.
Participate in a specialized trauma team for Level 1/2 trauma patients.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Interpret and act upon telemetry rhythms using Phillips monitors.

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL RN License or initiation of application process
BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC or TNS certifications
Proficiency in managing various drips in a critical care setting
Understanding of a Drug-Free Campus environment

Preferred:

Two years of nursing experience
Prior travel assignment experience
Experience in a teaching hospital environment
SANE RN experience
