Assignment Overview

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist with RRT credentials to provide care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies on general floors. The ideal candidate will have experience assessing and implementing patient care plans, monitoring equipment, and working in a high-acuity setting.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 3x12 Nights
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2295 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

• Assess patients for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develop care plans based on diagnosis.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans and equipment.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions.
• Perform advanced respiratory care modalities.
• Evaluate respiratory practices and treatment based on patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about their health conditions and available support programs.
• Respond to emergency resuscitation team codes.

Qualifications

Required:

• BLS Provider from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Indiana Respiratory Care Committee.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC.

Preferred:

• Advanced Life Support from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
