Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the ICU team in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will provide critical care to patients with complex trauma, stroke, and burn-related injuries, utilizing advanced skills in vent management and medication titration.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients with complex trauma, stroke, and burns
Manage medication titration and ventilators
Monitor and assess EKG rhythms for interventions
Collaborate with hospitalists and eICU after hours for pulmonary care
Float to other departments except ER and OB as needed

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL license or confirmation of application process initiation
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications (AHA)
Comfort with vent management and medication titration
Experience with arterial and central lines

Preferred:

PALS certification
Experience with CRRT and EVD/ICP
