Oncology Infusion Nurse | RN | IL

Assignment Overview

Seeking an Oncology Infusion Nurse for a role in a Cancer Treatment Center Infusion unit. The ideal candidate will be an RN experienced in administering chemotherapy infusion, blood, anti-neoplastics, and supportive therapies in an infusion room setting. Competency in handling intravenous medications is essential. Experience in outpatient oncology infusion with an ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy card is highly preferred.

Assignment Details

Shift: 8:00-4:30, 8:30-5, or 7:00-3:30
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2790 (negotiable)
No weekend or call requirements

Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy infusion, blood, anti-neoplastics, and supportive therapies
Draw labs off of subcutaneous portacaths
Remove home infusion pumps
Perform central line dressing changes

Qualifications

Required:

RN License
Competence in intravenous medication administration

Preferred:

Experience in outpatient oncology infusion
ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy card

PEL/VIP Job ID #65865307. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
