Assignment Overview

Seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry to manage care for adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will be capable of assessing acute changes in patients and working in a fast-paced environment. Experience with chronic ventilator care, EKG usage, and rhythm interpretation is required.

Responsibilities

Assess acute changes in patients
Utilize EKG and interpret rhythm strips
Administer and manage cardiac drips
Conduct tracheostomy care and management
Perform telemetry monitoring and interpretation

Qualifications

Required:

1 year of experience in telemetry nursing
BLS and ACLS certifications
Competence in rhythm strip interpretation
Competence in chronic ventilator experience

Preferred:

Competence in initiating and maintaining cardiac drips such as dobutamine, amiodarone, cardizem
