MRI Technologist | Rad Tech | MRI Tech

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our Radiology Department. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating GE MRI scanners and a solid understanding of MRI safety guidelines. The role involves working with outpatients, in-patients, and ED patients in an acute care setting.

Assignment Details

Shift Details: 8-hour shifts; first shift 6am - 2:30pm, second shift 2pm - 10:30pm, third shift 10pm - 6:30am
Weekend Requirements: 1 weekend a month
Holiday Requirements: Possible
Charting System: EPIC
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2700 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Operate GE MRI scanners including models 1.5T (450W) and 3T (750W)
Adhere to MRI safety guidelines
Start IVs as part of standard acquisition sequences for MRI scanning

Qualifications

Required:

BLS certification (AHA)
RTR certification
Experience with GE equipment

Preferred:

Familiarity with Epic EMR system

PEL/VIP Job ID #65959426. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
