Assignment Overview

Join a dynamic and dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. This role is suitable for experienced RNs who excel in managing complex, critically ill patients, including those undergoing hemodynamically unstable treatment and invasive monitoring. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in ICU settings with at least 2 years of experience.

Assignment Details

• Assignment Type: Travel
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2025 (negotiable)
• Shift Details: 3x12 Days
• Technologies used: EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis, Phillips monitors
• Orientation: 1 day facility, 2 days departmental, educational modules included
• Floating: All adult ICU units in-house including PCU

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor patients on ventilator support
• Administer and titrate drips to manage heart rate and blood pressure
• Monitor and manage invasive lines, including arterial lines and central venous lines
• Assist with bedside procedures such as tracheostomy and peg tube placement
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

Required:

• BLS and ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Skills in trach care, chest tube management, and insulin drip management
• Familiarity with vasoactive medications and bedside procedures

Preferred:

• CCRN (critical care nursing certification)
