Respiratory Therapist, CRT | Travel | General Floors, IL

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to general, intermediate, and ICU patients, working with both adult and pediatric populations. This role requires expertise with Servo U, Servo i, and LTV ventilators, as well as ResMed S9 Cpap and Fisher Paykel heated high flow equipment.

Start Date: Not provided
Location: General Floors, IL
Shift Details: 12 hours, 0630-1900; 1830-0700
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday
Holiday Requirements: Every other holiday
Charting System: EPIC
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2754 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Administer respiratory therapy treatments per AARC point system, averaging 26-28 points daily
Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists available 24/7
Participate in department-specific orientation and training

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL license or application in process
Experience in a large (300 bed or more) critical care facility
Not worked at any OSF facility in the past year
BLS certification
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification via NBRC

Preferred:

RRT preferred over CRT
