Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardio Thoracic Unit | Travel | Location

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in a Cardio Thoracic department for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in EKG interpretation and medication titration. This role involves working in an acute care setting, caring for patients with a variety of cardio thoracic conditions.

Assignment Details

Start Date: Not provided
Shift: 12-hour shifts, 0700-1930 and 1900-0730
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirements: Rotation includes specified holidays
Floating: Required to float to general medical units
Charting System: EPIC
Scrub Color: Any color, excluding children/cartoon prints
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients in the Cardio Thoracic unit
Interpret EKGs and titrate medication drips, including Cardizem and heparin
Collaborate with charge nurses and monitor techs to enhance patient care
Attend unit-specific orientation and comply with the dress code

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL RN License or application initiated
BLS certification
EKG interpretation skills
Basic nursing skills

Preferred:

ACLS certification

PEL/VIP Job ID #66121806. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
