RN (Registered Nurse) - RN-Telem | Cardio Thoracic | Travel | RN | Location: Not provided

Assignment Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the Cardio Thoracic unit. The role requires providing acute care in a fast-paced environment with a range of cardiovascular and thoracic patients. Ideal candidates will be skilled in EKG interpretation, medication titration, and have all basic nursing skills.

Start Date: Not provided
Facility Type: Acute Care
Shift: 12-hour shifts, 0700-1930 and 1900-0730, with weekend and holiday rotation required
Charting System: EPIC
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2907 (negotiable)

Local Candidate Policy: Applies to candidates within 50 miles (-$25 to regular and OT bill rates)

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to Cardio Thoracic patients
Interpret EKG and titrate medications as needed
Monitor and manage patients with various cardiac and thoracic conditions
Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve patient care goals
Float to other general medical units as required

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL RN license or proof of application submission
BLS certification (AHA)
Ability to interpret EKGs and titrate medications such as Cardizem and heparin
Proficiency in all basic nursing skills

Preferred:

ACLS certification
