Interventional Radiology Tech | Rad Tech | On-site

Assignment Overview

Seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Tech to join our team in a dynamic care setting. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to provide interventional radiology procedures. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in interventional cardiac cath, NeuroIR, IR, or EP labs.

Assignment Details

Start Date: Not specified
Shift: On-call availability is required with 13.5 hours on weekdays and 24 hours on weekends.
Assignment Length: Not specified
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $4080 (negotiable)
Charting System: Epic
Weekend Requirement: Yes
Call Required: Yes, rotate with current staff, 7-9 call shifts in a 6-week period

Responsibilities

Perform a range of interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, catheter placements, and thrombectomies
Utilize special equipment such as Siemens C-Arm and GE ultrasound
Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting

Qualifications

Required:

1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Associate Degree in Applied Sciences
ARRT Certification
IEMA Licensure
BLS through American Heart Association
ACLS through American Heart Association within 6 months of hire
Experience with Omnicell and Epic

Preferred:

2+ years of experience in a similar role
Experience in active interventional cardiac cath, NeuroIR, IR, or EP labs
Bachelor of Science Degree
