Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in the Cath Lab to join our team. This role involves caring for patients with diverse medical conditions such as COPD, CHF, and sepsis in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate has telemetry skills and experience with chest tubes, contributing to a collaborative inpatient environment.

Assignment Details

• Shift Details: 12-hour rotating nights, weekends, and holidays
• Assignment Length: Not provided
• Charting System: EPIC
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)
• Nurse to Patient Ratio: 3-4 patients per nurse
• Number of Beds: 32 beds, all private rooms
• Dress Code: Scrubs, any color
• Cancellation Policy: 12 hours per 13 weeks

Responsibilities

• Care for patients with a variety of medical conditions in an acute setting
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Operate and manage equipment such as telemetry and chest tubes
• Float to ICU or Gen Med floors as needed
• Provide high-quality care with a focus on patient safety

Qualifications

Required:

• ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS certifications
• Experience with chest tubes and telemetry reading
• Ability to float between units as needed
