Assignment Overview
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our Ortho/Neuro Unit, specializing in managing patients through the nursing process collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Ideal candidates will have strong critical thinking skills and the ability to operate effectively during night shifts.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital and Trauma Center
- Shift Details: Nights (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Assignment Length: Not specified
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2430 (negotiable)
- Travel RN may be required to float to other units
- Every other weekend and holiday required
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per approved nursing techniques and standards
- Document according to standards of care
- Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans
- Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments
- Utilize critical thinking to address patient safety and experience, escalating when necessary
Qualifications
Required:
- Current WI License
- NIHSS certification
- CPR/BLS certification
- Education verification
