Respiratory Therapist | Contract |
Assignment Overview
Join our team as a Respiratory Therapist, providing care on general floors including med, intermediate, and ICU patients. Ideal candidates will have experience in a large critical care facility and familiarity with specific respiratory therapy equipment.
Assignment Details
- Location: Acute care setting
- Shift: 12-hour nights (0630-1900; 1830-0700), every other weekend
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2754 (negotiable)
- Charting System: EPIC
- Orientation: 12 non-billable hours
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to general med, intermediate, and ICU patients
- Utilize equipment including Servo U, Servo i, LTV ventilators, and ResMed S9 Cpap/Bipap
- Collaborate with team lead and in-house hospitalists or intensivists
Qualifications
Required:
- Active IL license or application in process
- Negative drug screen for all panels
- BLS certification
- Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC
- Experience in a 300+ bed critical care facility
Preferred:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred over CRT
