Interventional Radiology Technician | On-site
Assignment Overview
We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, preferably in a critical care or procedural setting. Proficiency in using various medical equipment and imaging technologies related to interventional radiology is essential.
Assignment Details
- Shift: Monday - Friday rotating schedule between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM, with one day off every other week
- Call: Based on department needs, currently 2 days during weekdays, weekend call rotation shared with St Joseph
- Holidays: Call as needed
- May need to float on-site within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
- Shift: 5x8 Days
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $4420 (negotiable)
Responsibilities
- Perform IR procedures including angiography, embolization, biopsies, drainage procedures, and vascular access
- Ensure correct use of sterile technique and adherence to radiation safety protocols
Qualifications
Required:
- BLS certification
- Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV, or ARRT-VI
- WI Radiographer License
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in EPIC
- Strong mainframe and PC skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills and strong analytical skills
