Registered Nurse - Emergency Room | Travel | Janesville, WI
Assignment Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in a hospital and trauma center setting. Ideal candidates will have proficiency in emergency care and be comfortable working night shifts in a dynamic environment.
Assignment Details
- Location: Janesville, WI
- Shift: Night Shifts
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2754 (negotiable)
- Opportunity to work at a second Emergency Department location within Janesville or Beloit
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques and state laws
- Document care according to standards
- Perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
- Develop and execute a patient plan of care including patient and family instruction
- Participate in department performance improvement activities
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units in support of patient care
- Utilize critical thinking regarding patient safety and appropriately escalate concerns
- Engage in professional nursing activities and peer review processes
Qualifications
Required:
- Active WI RN Licensure
- Education verification
- Flu vaccination
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
- TNCC or TNS certification
