RN (Registered Nurse) | Travel | Illinois

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in the Adult Medical Speciality Unit for an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with central lines, tracheostomies, and chest tubes, with a preference for those familiar with the EPIC charting system and travel experience.

Assignment Details

Start Date: 8/4/2025
Facility Type: Acute Care
Shift Details: 12-hour nights, 3x12 shifts
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2907 (negotiable)
Charting System: EPIC
Trauma Level: 1

Responsibilities

Provide care to patients with common diagnoses such as cellulitis, sepsis, dehydration, and respiratory failure
Administer and manage non-titratable drips, such as Heparin and Lasix
Work collaboratively with a free charge RN and PCTs for patient care
Participate in a rotating schedule across acute care general medicine areas

Qualifications

Required:

Active IL license or confirmation of application process initiation
BLS certification (AHA)
Experience with central lines, tracheostomies, and chest tubes
Understanding of the drug-free campus policy and negative drug screen compliance

Preferred:

EPIC experience
Travel experience on a MedSurg Floor or experience in a level I trauma center with EPIC experience
