Assignment Overview
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the SICU unit specializing in critical care for post-surgical and trauma patients. The ideal candidate will have ICU experience and be skilled in titrating drips. The role is based in an acute care setting and requires active collaboration with the healthcare team to manage high-acuity patients.

Responsibilities
- Provide primary care in the SICU for critically ill post-surgical and trauma patients
- Administer and titrate medications, including pressors, sedation, paralytics, and insulin
- Interpret cardiac strips and collaborate with monitor techs
- Work collaboratively with intensivists and the care team
- Ensure high-quality patient care and comply with all safety protocols
Qualifications
Required:
- Active IL license or confirmation of application process initiation
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Proven ICU and Level I trauma experience
- Ability to titrate various critical care drips
- Understand OSF is a Drug-Free Campus
