Description

Provide comprehensive nursing care to veteran patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room.
Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
Conduct preoperative patient assessments and identify potential clinical risks and healthcare needs.
Monitor patients' conditions and responses to surgical interventions throughout perioperative care.
Develop and implement appropriate nursing care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, clinical interventions, and outcomes.
Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective surgical care.
Perform a wide range of professional nursing procedures while adhering to established clinical standards and safety protocols.
Assign, coordinate, and evaluate the duties of non-nursing direct care personnel in the operating room.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff while ensuring compassionate, patient-centered care.

Navitas Healthcare Job ID #26-15661. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
