Job Title: MRI Technologist – Direct Hire
Location: Medford, OR
Position Type: Direct Hire | Permanent
Department: Medical Imaging – MRI
Schedule: 10-hour night shifts (3rd shift)
Salary & Shift Differentials
Salary Range: $45.26 – $64.11 per hour
Additional shift differentials:
Night Shift: Additional $4.50/hour for hours worked between 11:01 PM and 7:00 AM.
Evening Shift: Additional $2.02/hour for hours worked between 3:00 PM and 11:00 PM.
Weekend Differential: Additional $1.87/hour for weekend hours worked.
Applicable differentials are based on the hours worked and eligibility.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join a hospital-based diagnostic imaging team in Medford, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of MRI experience, strong technical imaging skills, and a commitment to providing safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care.
This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity offering competitive hourly compensation and additional shift differentials.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
Review patient medical histories and screen for MRI contraindications, including implants and medical devices.
Explain imaging procedures and prepare patients for examinations.
Position patients appropriately and operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Monitor patients throughout procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
Evaluate image quality and ensure examinations meet diagnostic standards.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Follow MRI safety protocols, infection-control practices, and departmental guidelines.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience.
ARRT MRI certification.
Active MRI licensure through the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI).
Current BLS certification.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
