Job Description
Join an attentive, highly regarded nursing team at a progressive 35-bed acute care facility and designated Level IV Trauma Center in Pratt, Kansas. In this role, you will provide compassionate, family-centered care through labor, delivery, immediate postpartum recovery, and newborn stabilization alongside a collaborative medical staff. The facility combines a close-knit community setting with modern diagnostic capabilities, offering a supportive environment where travel nurses can quickly integrate and thrive.

Requirements

1–2 years of recent acute care experience in a hospital Labor and Delivery (L&amp;D) setting

Active Kansas (KS) RN license or active Multistate / Compact RN license

Active BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications

Flexibility to assist with immediate postpartum recovery and newborn stabilization as unit census requires

Demonstrated competency in continuous fetal heart monitoring, maternal assessment, and circulating/assisting with Cesarean deliveries

Preferred Qualifications

Current AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring certification

Prior experience working in rural health or critical-access community hospital environments

Previous travel nurse contract experience and comfort hitting the ground running with minimal unit orientation
