Description

MRI Technologist
• Shift: Three 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Friday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
• Weekends: Weekend-only position
• On Call: None
• Holiday Requirements: Position will assist with holiday coverage
• Floating: None
• Department Details: 2 MRI suites with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
• Traveler Experience: First-time travelers accepted
• Required Certifications: BLS and ARRT(MR)
• Patient Population: Pediatric through geriatric patients
• Clinical Areas: Orthopedic, neurological, gastrointestinal, and breast imaging
• Required Skills: General MRI, MRI-guided biopsies, breast biopsies, independent workflow management, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills
• Pacemaker Imaging: Cardiac pacemaker scanning is not performed
• Documentation System: EPIC
• Equipment: Siemens 1.5T MRI system and Pyxis medication dispensing
