Travel Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer – Mount Pleasant, SC | Up to $2,442/Week | Days

Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer / OB Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a reputable healthcare facility in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

Position Overview

The Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer performs specialized obstetric ultrasound examinations for patients experiencing high-risk pregnancies.

This position requires strong experience in maternal fetal medicine, fetal anatomy evaluation, high-risk obstetric imaging, and advanced prenatal ultrasound techniques.

The ideal candidate is comfortable independently performing comprehensive fetal anatomical surveys, fetal echocardiography, growth assessments, and Doppler studies while maintaining accurate documentation and exceptional patient care.

Assignment Details

Location: Mount Pleasant, SC

Weekly Pay: Up to $2,442

Start Date: November 25, 2026

Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule: Days, 5×8-hour shifts (8:00 AM–4:30 PM)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Weekend Requirement: None

On-Call: None

Floating: None

Setting: Outpatient Maternal Fetal Medicine / High-Risk OB Clinic

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine or high-risk OB ultrasound experience

ARDMS certification in OB/GYN required

Epic charting experience required

Experience working in high-risk obstetrics, maternal fetal medicine, and obstetric ultrasound

Experience with GE Voluson E10 ultrasound equipment

Proficiency in first-, second-, and third-trimester ultrasound examinations

Experience performing comprehensive fetal anatomical surveys

Experience with fetal echocardiography and fetal cardiac imaging

Proficiency in fetal growth assessments and biometric measurements

Experience performing nuchal translucency screening

Experience with umbilical cord Doppler studies

Ability to evaluate multiple gestations and placental abnormalities

Strong knowledge of fetal anatomy and prenatal ultrasound imaging

First-time travelers are welcome to apply if they meet all clinical qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications

ARDMS Fetal Echocardiography (FE) certification

Experience assisting with amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS)

PACS experience

Experience in Labor and Delivery settings

Additional experience with advanced fetal imaging and high-risk pregnancy evaluations

Clinical Skills & Procedures

First-, second-, and third-trimester obstetric ultrasound

Fetal anatomical surveys and Level II ultrasound

Fetal echocardiography

Biophysical profiles (BPP)

Fetal growth and biometric measurements

Nuchal translucency screening

Umbilical cord Doppler studies

Transvaginal cervical length assessment

Placenta previa and multiple gestation evaluations

Advanced maternal age pregnancy assessments

High-risk obstetric ultrasound examinations

Unit Highlights

Specialized outpatient Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic

Approximately 7–9 ultrasound scans per day

One-on-one patient examinations

Adolescent and adult patient population

GE Voluson E10 ultrasound equipment

Epic and Viewpoint documentation systems

Day-shift schedule with no weekends or call

Black scrubs required (not provided)
