Description

Always opens sterile supplies aseptically by verifying exposure to a sterilization process and checking the integrity of the sterile package.Assists in skin preparation and draping of the patient and operative area as requested by the surgeon.Makes effective use of time, material, and motion in assisting the surgical team. Maintains correct account of sponges, needles, and instruments with the circulating nurse and reports correctness and discrepancies according to Operating Room policy and procedures.
Disposes of sharps from sterile field per Operating Room policy and procedures.Prepares all specimens and cultures appropriately for laboratory analysis.

i2k MedHub Job ID #301322. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
