Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room (OR) in Ranson, WV. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, ensuring the highest standards of surgical care.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including surgeons and OR techs, to facilitate efficient and safe surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes in condition during surgery.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the OR environment, including sterilization of instruments.
• Participate in post-operative care and patient education.

Requirements:

• Current RN license and BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Experience in the Operating Room is highly preferred, but first-time travelers with strong experience in similar settings will be considered.
• COVID-19 vaccination required; exemptions must be documented with appropriate forms.
• Ability to respond to call shifts with a 30-minute response time.

Facility Overview:

The OR consists of 4 rooms, including 3 OR suites and 1 procedure room, with a varied number of cases per day. The facility performs a wide range of surgical procedures, including total joints, sports medicine, and general surgeries. The OR is open Monday through Friday, and staff typically works four 10-hour shifts with occasional call shifts required on weekends.
