Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery (L&D) department. This contract position offers an opportunity to provide exceptional perinatal care, collaborating closely with a renowned medical center. We are looking for experienced RNs with a passion for maternal and newborn health.

As an RN in Labor & Delivery, you will be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive prenatal evaluation of mother and fetus.
• Delivering intrapartum care for labor and birth.
• Administering intraoperative and recovery care for operative deliveries.
• Offering postpartum care and maternal/newborn care as a couplet dyad for well babies.
• Delivering specialized care for premature and newborns requiring a higher level of care.

Key qualifications include:

• 3-5+ years of experience in Labor & Delivery preferred.
• Comfortability in the OR is preferred.
• BLS-AHA and NRP certifications are required.
• Flu vaccine required during onboarding (declinations not accepted).
• Must be separated from the previous employer for 6+ months to be considered (perm, per diem, contract).
• Local candidates are accepted.

This position includes guaranteed hours of 72 hours biweekly, not including any on-call time worked. A biweekly orientation is provided to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
