We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) in Boston, MA. This is a contract position with guaranteed hours, providing you with stability and the opportunity to make a significant impact in patient care. Join a leading acute-care hospital known for its commitment to excellence and quality healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Participate in patient and family education to promote health and wellness.
Requirements:
- Current Massachusetts RN license.
- 2+ years of related work experience in a Medical ICU or Level 1 trauma center.
- Certifications: CPR-AHA, ACLS-AHA.
- Availability to work every third weekend.
- Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility.
Additional Information:
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays (excluding holidays).
- Interviews conducted by the nurse manager; please provide your availability for scheduling.
- All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application.
- Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health within the last year are not eligible for this position.
- Parking may cost up to $43/day.
