Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Emergency Department (ER) in Sylva, NC. The facility is an 86-bed acute care hospital with a long-standing reputation for excellent service. It offers a range of specialties, including orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, and emergency medicine. Your role will be critical in delivering quality care and improving patient outcomes.

Position Information:

• Role: RN
• Specialty: Emergency Medicine
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend 19:00-07:00
• Call Requirements: None

Required Certifications: Current RN license in state of practice, BLS, ACLS, PALS

Years of Experience: 2 or greater

Must Have Skills/Experience: Triage / ESI Levels / Prioritization, Rapid Assessment, Critical Thinking, Resuscitation, Fast Track, Splinting & Immobilization

Preferred Skillset/Experience: Moderate Sedation (Adult / Peds), Cardioversion, Transcutaneous Pacing

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Trauma stabilization, Neurological, Cardiac, Sepsis, Respiratory conditions, DVT/Pulmonary Embolism, Diabetic complications, Gastrointestinal conditions, Obstetric concerns, Mental health, and more.

Personality Fit: Flexible, Responsible, Dependable

Required Education: Associate Degree in Nursing
