Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Nashville, TN. This position is perfect for nurses with cardiac experience who are seeking a rewarding contract role in a dynamic healthcare environment. You will be part of a team that values excellent patient care and teamwork.

Unit Specifics:

Number of Beds: 32
Patient Ratios: 2:1
Unit Staffing Description: Student nurse externs available as techs; unit secretary available M-F 0730-1530
Type of Equipment: Hill-Rom beds, Phillips telemetry monitors
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling Requirements: 4-week schedules (3-4 weekend shifts required per scheduling period)
Floating Policy: Float as needed to units where needed depending on unit census

Patient Experience Requirements: None specific

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set:

Must Have: Cardiac experience, strong critical care experience
Advanced Skills Needed: PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring; IABP; Impella; CRRT preferred
Procedures Performed on Unit: Central line insertion, Swan insertion; intubations

Dress Code: Scrubs (galaxy blue, red, black); scrub jackets or vests only
