Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Emergency Department (ER) in Nashville, TN. With a commitment to excellence, our facility has been serving the community for 13 years and is preparing for the expansion of services with a new 68-bed hospital.

Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds: 12
• Patient Ratios: 1:4
• Type of Equipment: Hamilton Ventilator, EKG, bedside monitors
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling Requirements: 36 hours, rotating weekends
• Floating Policy: Other FSED if staffing allows or unable to meet 36 hour requirement

Required Skills:

• Great attendance and teamwork
• Quality patient care
• Effective communication with providers and peers

Advanced Skills Needed:

• Drip titrations
• Breathing treatment administration
• PEDS and Adult focus

Procedures Performed on Unit:

• Pelvic exams
• Suture setup
• Orthopedic splinting

Certifications Required:

• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS

Dress Code: Blue or Black scrubs preferred.
