Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the CVICU department, located in Nashville, TN. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on advanced cardiac care.

Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds: 16
• Patient Ratios: 1:2, 1:1 for certain device patients
• Type of Equipment: Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, Alaris IV pumps
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Unit Staffing Description: Free floating charge nurse to assist staff, unit secretary and Administrative Care Tech available M-F 0730-1530, Student Nurse Externs on variable shifts

Scheduling Requirements:

• 2 weekends/month
• 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day)
• 2 Winter Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day)

Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set:

• Must Have: Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience
• Advanced Skills Needed: Skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required; preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT

Procedures Performed on Unit:

• Provide care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS
• Perform central line insertion, swan insertion, intubations, etc.

Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS

Dress Code: Scrubs - black, red, or galaxy blue, scrub jackets/vests only
