Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Med-Surg Float Pool. This contract position offers the opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. We are seeking experienced RNs with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience and prior travel experience.
As a Med-Surg RN, you will float between five Med/Surg units, providing care to patients with a variety of needs. The nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:6, ensuring a manageable workload. Candidates must have a valid Tennessee RN license or a compact license on file at the time of submission, along with current BLS certification.
Additional details include:
- Scrubs: Navy
- Float to ER as needed
- EMR: Cerner
- Weekend work is required
- Expected to work 2 of 3 holidays
Orientation dates are available on 11/9, 11/16, 11/30, 12/7, and 12/14 (no orientation the week of 11/23). The unit will make the schedule, and interviews will be conducted through IVS with the manager making the final offer.
