Position Information:

• Role: Surgical First Assistant
• Specialty: OB, GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Podiatry
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:00
• Call Requirements: Regular call rotation with surgical team

Unit Profile:

• Facility Department: Perioperative Services
• Number of Beds: 86 bed facility with 6 operating rooms
• Patient Ratios: Standard interoperative care team
• EHR: MedHost
• Supervisor: Geoffrey Talbert, Director, Perioperative Services

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Requisite skillset to assist with OB, GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Podiatry
• Required Certifications: Certified First Assistant
• Years of Experience: 1 year post-training experience
• Personality Fit: Professional, pleasant affect
• Required Education: Successful completion of surgical First Assistant training program

• Scrub Color: As provided by facility
• Any unacceptable attire: Must wear facility surgical attire as provided while in surgical procedural areas
