Join a leading healthcare provider as a Respiratory Therapist in Weirton, WV. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in an acute care setting, providing essential respiratory therapy services to a diverse patient population, including adults, pediatrics, and neonates. As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in patient care and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer breathing treatments and manage respiratory equipment.
• Perform ABGs and capillary sticks for I-Stats.
• Assist with intubations as needed.
• Provide care in various settings, including Inpatient (MS, PCU, ICU), ER, Rehab, PACU, SNF, Endo, Cath Lab, and Outpatient.

Requirements:

• Must have BLS and ACLS certifications.
• RRT or CRT credentials accepted (those grandfathered in by the WV Board of Respiratory Care are acceptable).
• 3-4 years of experience preferred; first-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• WV CARES certification required prior to start.

Additional Details:

• Schedule: 4-week rotation; 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM or mid-shift from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM.
• Weekend and holiday requirements apply; every other weekend as scheduled.
• 1-3 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation with a preceptor as needed.
• Teal scrub color required; acceptable scrub pattern shirts allowed.
