Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Johnson City, TN. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment while providing high-quality patient care.

As an RN, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care in the Med Surg and Telemetry units. This role requires flexibility, as floating to different units may be necessary, along with rotating weekends and holidays. Candidates should possess AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications, with NIHSS preferred. Please note that travelers must have a permanent residence located 100 miles or more from the hospital's service area.

General orientation will begin on Sundays, with online CBLs provided. The traveler can start any Sunday, provided compliance documents are completed by the deadline. Be aware that there will be 16 hours of non-billable orientation included in the contract.

The hospital reserves the right to cancel or call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty, based on census fluctuations. Additional shifts can be picked up as overtime, but may be flexed as needed due to decreased resource requirements.

As part of the RN/LPN team, you will also play a vital role in supporting nursing students and contributing to clinical education, helping to prepare the next generation of nurses while delivering outstanding patient care.
