Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) in Plainview, TX. This is a contract position for a dedicated nurse ready to provide exceptional care in a rural healthcare setting. You will be responsible for managing labor patients while also caring for OB triage and outpatient patients as needed. This role requires you to work independently, as only one Labor & Delivery nurse may be scheduled per shift, with support available from the charge nurse or an on-call team member.

As an L&D RN, you will be expected to assist with postpartum and nursery care when patient volumes and staffing needs require it. While floating to other units, such as Medical-Surgical or the Emergency Department, is not required, flexibility and teamwork are essential. Weekend shifts are required, with 6 weekend shifts scheduled over a 6-week period. We strive to staff according to AWHONN guidelines whenever possible, ensuring safe and effective care for all patients.
