Join a leading acute-care hospital as a PCU Float Registered Nurse in Leonardtown, MD. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Step Down unit. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Float between IMC and medical units, and occasionally assist with medicine/IMC level boarders in the ED and ICU as needed.
• Provide care in a 15-bed IMC unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and a 44-bed MedSurg unit with a 1:5-6 ratio.
• Utilize telemetry skills, including Cardiac Telemetry, and provide care for patients in the ER Holding area.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IMC/PCU/MS Float Pool.
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
• This facility requires that all employees have the Flu vaccine.
• Scrubs not provided; color: Caribbean Blue.
