Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Cath Lab Tech specializing in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures in Coon Rapids, MN. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care and advanced cardiac technologies.
Position / Specialty: Cath Lab Tech
Daily Caseload: 15 patients in department
Years of Experience Required: 2+ years experience working in the cath lab as an X-ray Tech. First-timers accepted: No
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
On-call Requirement: Yes, 2-3 on-call shifts per 2-week period
Floating Requirement: No floating required within scope, but may float to sister facilities as needed.
Block Schedule: Not open to accommodating block schedule
Locals Accepted: No - 100-mile radius
Pending State License Accepted: Yes
RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days
Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time for any assigned candidate without any penalty or obligation to pay for such canceled time. On-call hours do not count towards the guaranteed minimum hours.
Special Requirements: Experience with CV and PVD labs, diagnostic and interventional angiograms, right and left heart caths, ASD and PFO closures, Impella, EKOS, rota-pro, athrectomy. Scrub stenting and driving the table for coronary and peripheral angiograms. Equipment experience required: C-Arm Operations. Preferred: GE and Phillips, Siemens, MedRad, Excellian, GE Mac Lab, Q-Site, Synapse. Scrub experience required.
Certifications: BLS, ARRT required; ACLS and ARRT Advanced Cert preferred.
Hospital Highlights: This is a teaching hospital and Level 2 Trauma Center with a total of 258 staffed beds. Scrubs are provided, and there are no parking fees. Charting is done via Epic (Excellian).
