Join a leading healthcare provider as a Registered Nurse in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Garnett, KS. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on long-term care. We are dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and support for our nursing staff.

Shift: 3x12 Nights (18:30 - 07:00) with a patient ratio experience of 1:30.

Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year in a nursing role. Preferred experience includes working in teaching hospitals, community hospitals, LTAC, or Trauma Level 1 and 2 settings. Long-term care experience and familiarity with EPIC charting are preferred but not mandatory. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Holiday Shifts: Charge RN assignments may be required as needed. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend, totaling 7 weekend shifts per contract.

Certifications Required: BLS.

Skills Required:

• Endocrine/Metabolic: Blood glucose monitoring.
• Isolation/PPE protocols.
• Respiratory: Oxygen administration via nasal cannula or face mask.
• IV Therapy/Medication: Peripheral line care.

Additional Information:

• Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. Canceled shifts must match the regular shift length.
• Interdisciplinary Support includes Physical Therapy, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation.
• Common Patient Diagnoses: Diabetes, Dementia, CHF, COPD, CKD, Physical decline, Anxiety, Depression, Parkinson's.
• Special Equipment: Sit-to-stand lift and Hoyer lift.
• Facility Type: Long-Term Care Facility with a total of 30 staffed beds.
• Scrub Color: Navy blue for RNs.
• Charting: Epic.
• Parking Cost: Free.
