Join a dynamic team as a Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neurology at a leading healthcare facility in Charlottesville, VA. This contract position offers an opportunity to work night shifts, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life effectively.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with neurological conditions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in their recovery and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform respiratory diagnostics and therapies for patients with neurological issues.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and treatments.

Requirements:

• RRT certification and BLS required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience preferred; candidates with 2+ years of experience may be considered.
• Must have a valid Virginia license or the ability to obtain a temporary license before the start date.
• ACCS certification preferred.

This position requires you to work every other weekend and 2 out of the 3 winter holidays. Please note that requests for time off around Christmas cannot be approved.
