Join our team as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) in Steamboat Springs, CO, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns. We are looking for a dedicated professional with a teaching attitude and a passion for teamwork. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience, including circulator for C/S, and rural healthcare experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Support and mentor other RNs.
• Participate in clinical leadership activities.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during labor and delivery.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery; circulator experience required.
• Certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN (Intermediate certification is a hard requirement; please have it in hand or provide proof of class registration).
• Current CO or compact RN license.
• Availability to work weekends as per unit needs (minimum of 5 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule).
• Experience with Epic charting is preferred.
• Must be willing to float between like units to meet facility needs.

This is a 10-bed unit with 5 Labor & Delivery and 5 Postpartum rooms. If you reside within 75 miles of the facility, a local rate of $95 per hour applies. We welcome first-time travelers!
