Join a leading healthcare provider as a Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neurology in Charlottesville, VA. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work nights, providing critical respiratory support and neuro diagnostics.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with neurological conditions. Your expertise will be essential in performing diagnostic tests and ensuring optimal respiratory function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct neuro diagnostics and respiratory assessments.
• Administer treatments and therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.

Requirements:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience preferred; candidates with 2+ years may be considered.
• Virginia license required; candidates with a pending license may apply if they can obtain a temporary license before the start date.
• ACCS certification preferred.

This position requires a commitment to work every other weekend and 2 out of the 3 winter holidays. Please note that requests for time off around Christmas cannot be approved.
