Join a leading acute-care hospital as a PICU Registered Nurse in Charlottesville, VA. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated RNs looking to make a difference in the lives of pediatric patients. As a PICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill children, ensuring their safety and comfort during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• May be required to float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs.

Requirements:

• Current Virginia RN license (pending applications may be accepted).
• BLS and PALS certifications are required.
• Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus.
• Must work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays.
• Availability to work 3 weekends per six-week schedule.

Additional Information:

• 40 hours of time off may be approved, but not during the first 2 weeks of the contract.
