As an ER Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in emergency situations. Your expertise will be vital in assessing, planning, and implementing patient care plans, as well as collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care plans.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of experience, including 1 year in a Level 1 trauma center or 2 years in a Level 2 trauma center.
• Experience in pediatrics is required.
• Current Virginia RN license (can submit with license pending).
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required (can submit with TNCC pending but must have before start).
• Availability to work 2 out of 3 winter holidays.
• Must be flexible with scheduled days based on staffing needs; block scheduling cannot be guaranteed.
• Ability to approve a maximum of 40 hours for time off.

This contract position offers a competitive pay range of $2,536 - $2,669, with shifts scheduled for 4x12 hours during the night (19:00 - 07:00). The duration of the assignment is 13 weeks, starting on 11/09/2026.
