Join a leading acute-care hospital as a CVICU Registered Nurse in Bloomington, IN. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a mixed acuity unit, where you will care for patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions, including those recovering from major surgeries such as CABG, TAVR, and MVR.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients in the CVICU, managing complex cardiovascular conditions.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and provide post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients.
• Administer and manage arterial lines, blood products, central lines, and PICC lines.
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips as needed.
• Care for ventilated patients and manage ventilator settings.
• Utilize telemetry for patient monitoring and assessment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 18 months of CVICU experience required.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications are required; NIH certification preferred.
• Must have an in-state license and required certifications in hand to submit.
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Charge experience is preferred.
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs.

This facility features all private rooms equipped with overhead lifts and offers a supportive environment for both patients and staff. The total staffed beds are 210, with Cerner charting and free parking available for staff.
